Moderate separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Friday, said that “injustice and coercion” was forcing Kashmiri youth to take up arms.
The Hurriyat (M) chief while condemning the detention of three Bandipora youth under the public safety act (PSA), said that it was this kind of coercion which pushed youth to end their lives by taking up army Indian state then hail the youth’s killings as ‘badi Kamiyabi’ (big achievement).
“Strongly denounce the arbitrary arrest of three youth Tawseef lone, Abdul Samad andSuhail parray of Bandipora, shifting them to Kotbalwal jail in Jammu and slapping the draconian PSA on them. It is such injustice and coercion by the authoritarian state that pushes our youth to take to arms and end up paying with their dear lives while the Indian state hails these killings as “badi kamiyabi”!” Mirwaiz tweeted.
Three youth were booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, police said today.
A police official said that Tawseef Ahmad Lone son of Wali Mohmad Lone a resident of Gundpora, Abdul Samad Malla alias Samad Inqalabi, a resident of Ganastan and Suhail Ahmad Parrey son of Zahoor Ahmad, a resident of Bangar Mohalla Hajin have been booked under PSA.
They have been to Kotbalwal Jail in Jammu.
