Salahuddin thanks Pakistan for “Kashmir Solidarity Day”, says Islamabad need to “do more”

SRINAGAR

Hizb ul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin, Tuesday, thanked Pakistani people and the country’s leadership for observing ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’.

In a statement issued to Srinagar-based news agencies, Salahuddin, who also head militant conglomerate, United Jehad Council (UJC), expressed gratitude to Pakistan, its people and the leadership of Pakistan-administered-Kashmir and said “time has come for the government of Pakistan to intensify its diplomatic, moral and media campaign to highlight the Kashmir cause.”

Salahuddin, according to the statement, while addressing a high-level meeting of UJC said the passion with which the government of Pakistan and its people are expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir is exemplary and encouraging for Kashmiris.

“The people of Kashmir and its leadership express gratitude to the people of Pakistan and its government for such solidarity,” he said.

Salahuddin, as per the statement claimed “India blatantly violates the international laws and commits ethnic cleansing of Kashmiris, snatching the eyesight of people including the children and women.”

He said the government of Pakistan needs to do more to highlight the cause of Kashmiris by adopting a result oriented policy.”
