Nirmal Singh calls on PM Modi

SRINAGAR

Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Dr Nirmal Kumar Singh, today called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

Dr Singh informed the PM about the progress made on the ambitious e-Assembly project in J&K that has been envisaged for end-to-end computerization and digitization of the Assembly processes.

Briefing the PM on Amarnath Yatra, Dr Singh said that adequate safety and other arrangements have been put in place for the pilgrims to ensure smooth pilgrimage and necessary measures are initiated to accommodate the heavy rush of Yatris.

During the meeting, various development activities taken up in the state were also discussed.
