Two bootleggers nabbed with illicit liquor in Srinagar city

SRINAGAR

Two bootleggers were arrested along with illicit liquor during a naka checking at Budshah Bridge in the heart of summer capital Srinagar city on Friday, police said,

“During naka checking at Budshah Bridge, police party of Police Station Maisuma intercepted a Sumo bearing number JK01L/2060. On checking the vehicle 11 bottles of illicit liquor was recovered form the possession of Ishfaq Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Shaban Dar resident of Reban Sopore and Fasil Nazir Malik son of Nazir Ahmad Malik resident of Nasoo Bandipora,” said a spokesperson.

“A case FIR number 23/2018 under section 50 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Maisuma and investigation has been taken up.”
