Missing Pulwama girl traced in Jammu; united with parents


A teenage girl missing from her home in Litter area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district since June 3, was traced in Jammu and handed over to her parents, police said on Sunday.

A spokesman said the girl’s parents filed a missing report last week (June 7), stating that their daughter was missing since June 3.

“On this information, SHO litter and his team started the investigation to trace the missing girl. The team left no stone unturned and after hectic efforts recovered the girl from Jammu,” said the spokesman.

“After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents. Locals of the area hailed efforts of Police for tracing the missing girl within shortest possible time.”
