Missing hearing and speech impaired minor boy reunited with family: Police

SRINAGAR

A hearing and speech impaired minor boy who was missing from his home in Rainawari area of Srinagar city since July 17 was today traced and reunited with his family, police said.

“A missing boy was traced by Police Station Rainawari and reunited with his family. Rainawari police traced out the missing mentally unsound boy from Srigufwara area of Anantnag after making an appeal on social media,” said a spokesperson.

On 17 July, Police Station Rainawari appealed to the general public through social media to help in tracing a missing hearing and speech impaired boy.

“Later some people called Police Station regarding the said missing boy and finally he was traced out from Srigufwara area of Anantnag and was handed over to his parents,” the spokesperson said.

He said the boy’s family thanked police for their swift help in tracing their son.
