JK Police distribute Eid gifts among orphans, martyrs’ kin


In a heartwarming gesture, the Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday distributed Eid gifts among orphan children and families of police martyrs.

“Police on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, distributed gift items among the orphan children of Darul Uloom society Hyderpora at District Police Lines Srinagar,” said a spokesman

He said that SSP Srinagar Shri Imtiaz Ismail Parray accompanied by SP City South Ashish Mishra, SP Hqr’s Srinagar Khalil Ahmad and other officers distributed Eid Gifts among the children, so that they could celebrate Eid in a good manner.

Meanwhile, Deputy Inspector General of Police CKR, V.K Birdi distributed daily essentials among the families of police martyrs.

“They were also supported monetarily so that they could celebrate the Eid in a good manner,” the spokesman said.

“The martyrs are the actual heroes of our society, who had laid their lives for a noble cause,” Birdi said.

SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone was also present on the occasion.
